About these terms

Daniel Thomas Removals and Storage Ltd is based in Rainham, Essex. Request the applicable service terms before booking.

Surveys and quotes

Surveys and quotes are free. Quotes are fixed for the job described at the survey. If the job changes, for example extra items, different addresses, access not disclosed or a changed date, we may need to update the quote, and we will agree any change with you before proceeding.

Payment

Payment is accepted by bank transfer or cash. Ask about payment timing before booking.

Your responsibilities

Please make sure items are ready for collection, that we have safe access and suitable parking at both addresses, and that you have arranged any permits needed. Please tell us about any fragile, valuable or hazardous items in advance.

Valuables such as cash, jewellery, documents and medication should be kept with you.

Insurance

We hold Goods in Transit insurance and Public Liability insurance. Please ask us for details before your move.

Storage

Containerised storage is provided on the terms set out in your quote. Ask about the storage facility location, access arrangements, charges and applicable terms before booking.

Disposal

We dispose of unwanted items under our Environment Agency Waste Carrier Licence. Some items may be excluded for legal or safety reasons.

Cancellations and changes

Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking. Ask for the applicable cancellation and booking-change terms before booking.
